Driven Piles

Driven piles provide an effective technique that can be used in most foundation projects.

Mini piles using grouted steel tubes can be used in the foundation reinforcement of all types of property including houses, extensions, renovations and for walls and floors. CCL Fundering uses specialist machinery to drive mini piles when installing foundations in areas of limited access. Bespoke mini rams can operate in areas 80 cm wide and 1.8 metres high, allowing the company to perform remedial foundation work on the average house.

Mini pile foundations are usually the most economical method when the depth of sustainable layer is greater than 3-5 meters. A geotechnical survey clarifies the existing soil conditions before the project is started.

CCL Fundering driven mini piles are available in 114, 159 or 219 mm diameters and are driven down in sections ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. The lower part of each pile is closed with a steel plate, ensuring that the entire pipe is filled with concrete. The stiffness of the steel pipes allows them to be driven down to depths of 10-15 meters.
